Why we made Prompt Pulse and the ChatGPT Visibility Tracker free

We made two tools free — the ChatGPT Visibility Tracker and Prompt Pulse. A note on why seeing the problem shouldn't cost what fixing it does.

AI search is becoming the front door to your brand. Buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews the questions they used to type into Google, and the answer comes back naming a short list of brands. The hard part isn't improving your spot in that answer — it's that most teams have no way to even see it.

When we sit down with marketing and brand teams, the first reaction is almost always the same: curiosity mixed with a little dread. They suspect AI engines are already shaping how buyers find them, but they can't tell whether ChatGPT recommends them, ignores them, or names a competitor. And when they go looking for the data, they hit a wall — the tools that can show them are priced for enterprises with five-figure budgets.

That bothered me. You shouldn't have to sign a five-figure contract to find out whether AI search is quietly routing your buyers to a competitor. Seeing the problem should be free. So we built two tools and gave them away.

The free ChatGPT Visibility Tracker

Enter your domain, and we run the high-intent prompts your buyers actually ask ChatGPT — then show you where you land: mentioned, cited, or skipped, and which competitor gets named in your place. No signup wall, no credit card, results in about five minutes. It answers one question honestly: when someone asks ChatGPT about your category, are you in the room?

Prompt Pulse

The tracker tells you how you're doing on the prompts that matter. Prompt Pulse tells you which prompts matter. It's free AI-demand data: the real questions buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, organized by industry, ranked by demand, and flagged for what's rising. We built it because "what should we even be tracking?" is the question that stalls most AEO programs before they start — and the answer was buried inside enterprise data products. Now it's a page you can read for free, updated monthly.

Why we made them free

Here's the conviction behind both. We don't think you should pay to see the problem. You should pay — if you choose to — to fix it. The diagnosis (where do I stand, what is my market actually asking AI) should be open. The execution — turning those gaps into governed, on-brand content and citations your team can approve, ship, and verify — is the hard, ongoing work, and that's what SolCrys charges for.

There's a selfish reason too, and I'd rather be honest about it. We're a young company in a category that's still being defined. The more brands that can see what's happening to them in AI search, the faster the whole category grows up — and the better the conversations we get to have. Free tools are how we earn the right to those conversations. We would rather be the team that helped you see clearly than the one that hid the mirror behind a sales call.

We also run both tools on ourselves, constantly. Like most brands new to AI search, we have our own gaps to close — and using the same instruments we hand to customers keeps us honest about what actually moves an answer.

Try them

Run the tracker on your domain, then open Prompt Pulse for your industry. If what you see makes you want to do something about it, that's what the rest of SolCrys is for. And if it just makes the shift to AI search a little less of a black box, that's a good outcome too.
